<p>Breathing through your mouth is bad when you are laying down because it lowers the jaw and allows the tongue to fall back. This causes snoring, but you can train yourself not to breath through your mouth. When you notice incorrect breathing, focus on correcting it to train yourself to breath correctly.</p>
<p>The position that you sleep in will have a lot to do with whether you snore or not. If possible you will want to be on your side. A way to stay in this position is to place a pillow behind your back and another one between your legs. You could sew a tennis ball into your pajamas to make yourself roll back on your side too.</p>
<p>Keeping your throat and nasal passages moist can make it easier to end snoring. A humidifier in the room can be effective in keeping the air from being dry. Using nasal or throat sprays works well too.</p>
